The Montana Board of Education and Columbia Falls School District Six, proudly recognizes a group of ten high school students dedicated to language learning. This commitment has earned them an unique and special distinction given to bilingual High School students:
The Seal of Biliteracy.

This award honors students who have achieved high proficiency in English and at least one other language. A gold seal will he added to their diploma and their accomplishment will be noted on their transcripts.

Some of these students have learned Spanish as a second language and others have learned English as their second language. We also have a trilingual student who received recognition for her ability to speak Russian, Spanish and English!

Congratulations Wildcats, we are proud of you!

Congratulations to our students who achieved this honor!

Congratulations to our students who achieved this honor!

Congratulations to the Columbia Falls High School students who received honorary white coats this year! Presented annually by Logan Health, these white coats recognize students who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to biomedical sciences. The white coat serves as a symbol of hard work, dedication and the pursuit of a future in health care and science.

We’re proud to celebrate these students and look forward to seeing where their journeys take them.

BREAKING NEWS: Due to a little-known old Montana law (that we’re pretty sure was written sometime around the invention of barbed wire), Columbia Falls High School Principal Mr. Gibbs is officially on horse duty today.

Senior Jason has entrusted Mr. Gibbs with the care of Lucky Luna and Monty for the day, meaning our principal’s responsibilities now include:
• Feeding horses
• Watering horses
• Probably Googling “how to tell if a horse likes you”
• Trying not to get outsmarted by two animals Lucky Luna and Monty

Witnesses report Mr. Gibbs has already traded his principal walkie-talkie for imaginary spurs and may begin answering emails with “Howdy.”

We appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond for students… even if it means adding “part-time ranch hand” to the job description. 🤠🐴
