CHHS Concert Choir and Intermediate Choir held their final choir concert of the school year last night!

CHHS seniors were thanked for their time and dedication to the program, and two awards were given out to students for their commitment to the choir program. Seniors Rose Kembitskey and Mareli Santiago Tacuba received the National School Choral Award from Director Nicholas Hollermann.

Congratulations to our CHHS students who will be continuing their athletic careers after they graduate this June! This morning, CHHS held our Declaration of Intent Signing Celebration for these students!

Amjad Mohamed will be continuing his soccer career at Hamline University in Minnesota, Tamiah Jackson will be continuing her basketball career at Bethune-Cookman University in Florida, Elvis Placencia Pesantez will be continuing his wrestling career at Minnesota North College - Itasca, in Minnesota, Skyy Phillips will be continuing her Cheerleading career at Grambling State University in Louisiana, Judah Caine will be continuing his basketball career at Judson University in Illinois, Nour Hussein will be continuing his football career at Crown College in Minnesota, and Iyanah Donald will be continuing her cheerleading career at Albany State University in Georgia!

Congratulations to all of these student athletes! We are so excited for your continued athletic careers and can't wait to cheer you on!

Congratulations to the following Columbia Heights High School students on their outstanding results at the MSHSL Section 5AA Visual Arts Competition! Students were judged by three separate judges to receive their ranking on their artwork.

Superior ranking earned 50 points or above, Excellent ranking earned between 40 and 49 points. Jasilyn and Olivia received a Spotlight in the Arts award via judges' choice. This Spotlight Award earns them an invitation to participate in the State Arts Festival held at Wayzata High School on Saturday, May 9th.

CHHS Theater proudly presents The Play That Goes Wrong—a hilarious, fast-paced comedy where everything that can go wrong… does. From missed cues to collapsing sets, this show will have you laughing the entire time!

Join us tonight at 7:00 p.m in the CHHS Performing Arts Center for opening night. Can’t make it tonight? We’ve got you covered with performances on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

CHHS Juniors and Seniors! Join us for our “A Starry Night in Paris” 2026 Prom on Saturday, May 9th!

CHHS Prom Tickets are now available to purchase until May 8th! https://www.colheights.k12.mn.us/prom

- When: Saturday, May 9th
- Where: Anson Northrup Riverboat (Harriet Island, St.
Paul)
- Time: 7:00-11:00 p.m.
- Who: 11th and 12th grade CHHS students*

*CHHS students may buy an extra ticket to bring a guest.
That guest may be a 9th or 10th grader from CHHS, a high schooler from another school, or other (age restriction 15-20). Please see Kari Martin in the front office if you are attending prom with a guest.
