There are over 1,000 U.S. Veterans interred at Rose Hill, including Cpl. John W. Stamps, a veteran of the First World War. Cpl. Stamps passed away in 1972 and never had a tombstone. Two years ago, we not only remembered him during Rose Hill: Wreaths Across America Day, but we unveiled his long-awaited tombstone issued by the VA.

Wreaths Across America is about remembering veterans, honoring them and their sacrifices, while teaching the next generation that our freedoms are not free. Help us remember one of our 1,000 veterans this Christmas by sponsoring a wreath. A wreath sponsorship is $17. Not only does this decorate a Veteran's grave this Christmas Season, it helps the cemetery, as a portion of these funds will be donated to Rose Hill. Don't wait-- the cut-off for wreath sponsorships is December 1st!

Today, along with cemeteries across the nation, Rose Hill participated in Wreaths Across America Day. After a short ceremony, 168 wreaths were placed on the graves of veterans buried in Rose Hill. Thank you to all of our wreath sponsors and volunteers that helped placed the wreaths.
