National Apprenticeship Day in Howard County was a success!
On April 30, we celebrated with a full day of events focused on connection, opportunity, and workforce development. Hosted by the Howard County Office of Workforce Development, in partnership with Howard County Public Schools, Howard Community College, and the Maryland Department of Labor, the day began with on-the-spot student-employer interviews and ended with a business appreciation lunch for current and prospective apprenticeship partners.

A huge thank you to our County Executive, our dedicated team at HOCO Works Apprenticeship System, the fantastic OWD team, and all our partners who made this day possible. Together, we’re building the future of Howard County’s workforce!
