In the City of Henderson, SCRC Federal Co-Chair Dr. Jennifer Clyburn Reed celebrated a FY2025 SEID investment that will help expand access to safe, reliable drinking water.

With $500,000 in SCRC funding, the City of Henderson will install new waterline infrastructure to improve water access for households currently impacted by contaminated private wells — supporting public health and strengthening the community for the future.

This investment addresses immediate needs while helping lay the groundwork for healthier, more resilient neighborhoods.
