🎖️Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of the women who have worn our nation's uniform.

From every branch of the military and across every generation, women veterans have answered the call to serve, defend our freedoms, and strengthen our country. Their dedication and sacrifice have left a lasting impact on our communities and our nation.

On Women Veterans Recognition Day, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all the women who have served. And a special thank you to our very own Representative Harriet Holman for her over 20 years of service in the U.S. Army.

Join us in thanking the women veterans who have served our nation.

🚨 ENDORSEMENT ALERT: "District 8 needs steady leadership. We need someone focused on roads, infrastructure, public safety, accountability, and the real issues facing Anderson. We need someone who can work with people, listen to people, and represent more than one faction or political group.

For those reasons, I believe Don Chapman is the best person remaining in this race to represent District 8 and to help move South Carolina in the right direction.

I offer Don my support and best wishes as he moves forward in the runoff election." -Patrick Orr

ENDORSEMENT ✅ I am honored and grateful to have the support of Patrick Orr in the Republican Runoff.

Running for office is a sacrifice, and I appreciate Patrick's willingness to step forward and serve our community.

Election Day: June 23

Runoffs FAQ:

1. Early voting for runoffs is next Wed & Thurs, June 17-18, 8:30am-5pm. June 19 is a federal holiday (Juneteenth) so there will be no early voting on Fri, June 19. Expect this to be a little busier than early voting two weeks ago. We are compressing 9 days into 2 days.

2. The runoff election is Tues, June 23, 7am-7pm. You will need to vote at your precinct.

3. If you voted in the Democratic primary, you CANNOT vote in the Republican runoffs. In the Upcountry, there are only Republican runoffs. So, in the Upcountry, if you voted in the Democratic primary, you cannot vote in the runoffs.

4. If you did NOT vote in either primary, you CAN vote in the Republican runoffs.

5. For my District 5 people, early voting June 17-18 will be at the same two locations (Easley library & JB Red gym). On June 23, precincts will be the same locations. On the ballot for District 5: Alan Wilson vs Pamela Evette (Governor), Stephen Goldfinch vs David Stumbo (Attorney General), and Danny Ford vs Cody Simpson (Commissioner of Agriculture).
