πŸ”₯πŸš— Main Street is About to Come Alive This Friday! 🏍️πŸ”₯

The Greater Tyrrell County Chamber of Commerce would like to give a huge shout-out to Stick Burning BBQ Company for hosting another exciting community event right here in downtown Columbia!

This evening (6/12) Main Street will be blocked off from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM for a fun, family-friendly evening featuring motorcycles, hot rods, classic cars, trucks, and all kinds of unique rides and toys! Whether you're a car enthusiast, motorcycle lover, or just looking for a great night out with family and friends, this is an event you won't want to miss.

We are especially thankful for businesses like Stick Burnin BBQ that continue to invest in our community by creating opportunities for people to gather, connect, and enjoy time together. Their willingness to open their doors during evening hours gives local residents and visitors another great dining option while supporting a downtown atmosphere.

So grab the family, invite your friends, enjoy some great food, and come spend a summer evening on Main Street celebrating community, fellowship, and some amazing vehicles!

Today we celebrate Inner Banks Mercantile with four incredible years of business, community involvement, and dedication to the people of Tyrrell County and Northeastern North Carolina.

As we took a trip down memory lane and scrolled back to some of the very first Inner Banks Mercantile posts, one thing became abundantly clearβ€”this business has always had a heart for community.

From hosting makers markets and supporting small businesses, to organizing sales, live music nights, bingo events, and countless opportunities for neighbors and friends to gather together, Inner Banks Mercantile has become much more than a store. It has become a gathering place where friendships are formed, local entrepreneurs are encouraged, and community spirit thrives.

The impact of a small business extends far beyond its walls. Through their investment of time, resources, and energy, Inner Banks Mercantile has helped create excitement, support local families, and showcase the very best of what makes our region special.

Please join the Greater Tyrrell County Chamber of Commerce in congratulating Inner Banks Mercantile on this milestone anniversary! Nancy Carver McKaig We are thankful for your partnership, your commitment to our communities, and the positive difference you and your team continue to make every day.

Here's to many more years of success, growth, and serving the people of Northeastern North Carolina! ❀️

You can also grab your Tyrrell Chamber Merch when you stop in the Mercantile!!

🎨🌞 What a wonderful evening in downtown Columbia at Pocosin Arts' first Summer Art Reception of the season!

The atmosphere felt more like a community block party than an art reception as friends, neighbors, artists, and visitors gathered to enjoy everything this special place has to offer.

πŸ–ΌοΈ The gallery inside the historic barber shop was open and filled with beautiful artwork from talented artists both near and far. Visitors also had the opportunity to browse the newest Pocosin Arts merchandise and unique handmade gifts.

🌸 Sand in Bloom Flower Farm brought their popular Make-Your-Own Blossom Bar, where guests could create their own fresh flower arrangements to take home.

🎢 Live music filled the air as Gene Galligan performed on the porch, creating the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening along Main Street.

🌊 Guests enjoyed corn hole on the deck overlooking the beautiful Scuppernong River, explored silent auction items available for bidding, and toured all three artist studios to see creativity in action.

Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to have such a vibrant arts community right here in Tyrrell County!

πŸ“… Mark your calendars! Summer Art Receptions will continue every Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM throughout June and July.

Come experience the art, music, fellowship, and small-town charm that make Columbia such a special place to call home.
