Gateway to the Army Association
Dedicated to Fort Jackson and its soldiers and history. Mission: To support the national security of the United States by promoting patriotism, honoring history and saluting service. Vision: To honor and salute patriotism, history and American military service by creating visual reminders and conducting commemorative events. These actions will strengthen national

security by fostering a healthy military, and respect for the United States of America. History:
Since 1917, Camp Jackson, now Fort Jackson, has dedicated itself to training American Patriots for service in the world's greatest fighting force - the United States Army. Army Drill Sergeant has stood as the epitome of professionalism and service in our Nation's Army. Their stalwart dedication to standards and discipline, distinctive headgear and lasting impression on all who cross their path, are worthy of honor and recognition. With this in mind, the Gateway to the Army Project team proudly dedicates its efforts. Army, Fort Jackson, SC and all entities therein have no official association or connection with the Gateway to the Army Project. This project is solely a community- based effort dedicated to designing, building, funding and presenting a gift to Fort Jackson honoring its 100th anniversary occurring in 2017. Donate:
The Gateway to the Army Team thanks you for following our efforts to build a monument honoring Fort Jackson as we approach the 100th anniversary of Fort Jackson. We encourage you to consider donating to our cause in the near future. Thanks for your interest!

Thanks to everyone who purchased a brick and helped support Centennial Park! Attached are several files with both an alphabetical list of the installed bricks and a diagram of their location.

Proud moment today for the Gateway to the Army Association!

Our Board had the honor of briefing U.S. Army Training Center & Fort Jackson Commanding General Maj. Gen. Daryl Hood and Garrison Commander Col. David Gaugush on our exciting plans to complete Centennial Park and officially turn it over to the Army.

This beautiful green space — with its pavilions, Soldier's Statue, and gathering areas — will serve as a lasting tribute to Fort Jackson's legacy, providing a perfect spot for family gatherings, graduations, and honoring our Soldiers.

Grateful for the continued partnership and support as we bring this vision to life for our Army family! Here are some photos from the meeting and of the park's progress:
