Leader Training Brigade

Leader Training Brigade Leader Training Brigade is a component of TRADOC that's specifically designed to educate today's leaders. It encompasses schools such as MRS, PFS, & IMTLS

Victory College operates as a tenant organization with geographical support functions provided by Fort Jackson. The directorate is comprised of a Headquarters section that provides administrative support, linkage to the DCG-IMT staff and command group located at Fort Eustis, and executes QA, KM, and development requirements for the entire organization. The four divisions, IMTLS, USAPFS, USAMRS, and PDID, perform functional roles related to leader and support education, training development, master resilience and physical readiness policy formulation, respectively. Specific duties and functions of each division are outlined in greater detail in later sections of this SOP. In addition, the Victory College Director, as the senior military representative of the DCG-IMT at Fort Jackson, provides support oversight to the US Army Drill Sergeants School in addition to its directed responsibilities in developing the school’s POI and its Quality Assurance requirements.

Mission: Victory College conducts education and development of selected leaders with a current, rigorous and relevant curriculum in leadership, fitness and resiliency; facilitate the development and integration of instructional strategies and training products of assigned courses to enhance the development of leaders as critical thinkers and warfighters prepared to meet the challenges of a complex environment.

“Do you have the required Posture & Mobility to get into the proper positions before adding load?

Building strength within a dysfunctional foundation can create issues that will be difficult to correct later. This is why starting with good positions, and training with quality movements is always more important than the number of repetitions completed, or the amount of weight lifted.

Below are four assessments that you, as a leader, can use as an entrance standard to weight-training. This is by no means mandated or required, but it is highly recommended. If they seem easy, good. It shouldn’t be a problem to check the block and keep moving“.

1: Wall Squat 60-90 sec.

2: Sorensen Hold 90-120 sec.

3: High Plank (FLR) 120 sec.

4: Position of Attention
