“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” — William Butler Yeats
As we reflect on the 2025–2026 school year in the Columbia School District, we pause to recognize one of life’s greatest callings: the work of shaping young minds and inspiring lifelong learning. At our End-of-the-Year Convocation, we gathered to celebrate a year marked by growth, perseverance, achievement, and countless moments that made a difference in the lives of our students.
We are deeply grateful for our dedicated faculty and staff whose passion, care, and unwavering commitment continue to inspire excellence throughout our district. Every lesson taught, every student encouraged, and every challenge met with determination has contributed to the success of this school year. Your impact extends far beyond the classroom and leaves a lasting legacy in the lives of those you serve.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to those entering retirement. Thank you for your years of faithful service, leadership, and commitment to the students, families, and communities of Columbia School District. Your dedication has strengthened our schools, enriched our district, and positively impacted generations of learners.
