What does a school day look like at Orangeburg High School for Health Professions? It might include swimming lessons at the YMCA, hands-on training at the technical college, and building skills that lead directly to real jobs in the community. 🏊

HSHP students take PE through a basic swimming course at the YMCA, and for those who want to go further, lifeguard certification is an option. The result? 90% of lifeguards at Orangeburg County Parks and Recreation are HSHP students.

Add in dual enrollment at the tech college and you have a school that is giving students credentials, confidence, and a head start on life beyond graduation. We loved this visit!
