Looking to register your Doing Business As (DBA) name?

South Carolina is a little different! We don’t register DBAs on the state level, but you can register your DBA when you apply for your local business license (issued by the county and/or municipality where your business operates).

Limited Partnerships (LPs) or foreign corporations can apply for an Assumed Name or a Fictitious Name with the SC Secretary of State.

Have more questions about registering your DBA? Give us a call, send an email, or message our live chat and we can direct you to the right place! šŸ“©
