Missouri Public Utility Alliance MPUA is an alliance of hometown utilities in the mid states region. MPUA brings together 120 hometown utilities for the collective good.

MPUA represents municipally-owned electric, natural gas, broadband, water and wastewater utilities that work together for the benefit of their customers. We support community-owned, locally controlled electric, water, wastewater, natural gas, and broadband utilities in Missouri and beyond. MPUA provides utilities with energy supply, training, advocacy, and technical support. We’re proud to collabo

Through MPUA's Mutual Aid Program, communities help one another restore power safely and efficiently after storms and emergencies. Crews travel where they're needed most, bringing equipment, expertise, and support to neighboring utilities. It's one of the many ways public power demonstrates the value of working together.
