Teamwork makes the dream work. Our team is happy to support our public safety partners and provide our perspective during training. Last week we helped dispatch during the Boone County Fire Protection District's recruit class scenario training. Trainings like this help everyone hone their skills and ultimately keep our community safer.

Is the job like all those TV shows? Our dispatchers answered this question and more at the Callaway College and Career Fair in Fulton on Wednesday. We enjoyed connecting with juniors and seniors, sharing what a career in emergency communications looks like, and busting a few TV myths along the way! We love helping students learn about the skills, dedication, and teamwork it takes to be the calm voice on the other end of the line. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and asked questions. Who knows? We may have met some of our future dispatchers!
