VAC Holiday Program sign-ups are now open!

Sign-up dates are weekdays: Monday, August 31st through Friday, October 9th at noon. Extended Hours: Saturday, September 19th, 9am - Noon and Tuesday, October 6th, 4:30 - 6:30pm.

Sign-ups can be done over the phone or in person in the lobby. Lobby walk in: M-F 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm at the Cindy Mustard Resource Center 1300 Bowling Street, Columbia, MO 65201. 573.874.2273 press 2.

True North's Children's Program

True North's Children's Program offers parent-child intervention through Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) for families who have experienced domestic or sexual violence. Specifically serving residents of the emergency shelter, the program provides evidence-based skills to help parents and children process trauma together. The primary objective is to foster healthy attachment, increase emotional resilience, and promote long-term family stability by reducing the lasting impacts of abuse and neglect.
