To my fellow South Carolinians, it wouldn't be fair to close out Jazz History Month without recognizing this existing jazz giant. Houston Person was born and raised in Florence South Carolina and attended South Carolina State University. Houston lives in New Jersey but is constantly touring the world spreading the message Jazz. Props to you Mr. Person.
