Use the form at the link to report a missed residential trash or recycling collection. If your cart was placed at the curb by 5:00am on your scheduled collection day with at least 4 feet of clearance around it and was not collected, please complete the form. Requests submitted after business hours will be reviewed on the next business day. This form is for residential curbside collection only and should not be used for commercial dumpster service.

🚧 Mt. Olivet Bridge Closure Detour Map

The Mt. Olivet Bridge closure is effective today, Monday, July 13, 2026, due to structural concerns. Please see the detour map provided.

The Mt. Olivet Bridge replacement project is a Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) project funded by the State of Tennessee and is currently scheduled for 2029. Due to the impact the closure may have on local travel, the City of Columbia has requested that TDOT evaluate opportunities to expedite the project timeline.

The City will continue coordinating with TDOT and sharing updates as additional information becomes available regarding the project timeline and future construction schedule.

Motorists are encouraged to follow posted detour signage and allow additional travel time while the bridge remains closed.

The City appreciates the community’s patience during this closure and will provide updates as information becomes available.
