As a first responder, you've been there. You remember that one critical incident that changed your view of the world and your job forever. Critical incidents can affect you in ways that only a first responder could understand.

This is where the Post Critical Incident Seminar comes in.

SC FAST invites you to the 2026 Post Critical Incident Seminar on November 9-11, 2026, in North Myrtle Beach. It is open to all fire, EMS, 911, coroners and their spouses.

This seminar is designed for first responders, by first responders. With your peers by your side, you will:

- Learn how trauma impacts the mind and body.
- Explore proven, field-tested strategies for recovery.
- Share experiences in a safe, confidential space.
- Build resilience through the power of peer support.

You may not be able to go back to the incident that changed you, but you can move forward with the support of SC FAST and your peers.

You don't have to cope alone.

Registration is open for first responders and their spouses.

SC Firefighter Mobilization is built on departments being willing to show up for one another when the need arises. We’re incredibly thankful for every department that provided personnel and equipment, the coordinators who helped get resources where they were needed, and the local crews who worked tirelessly throughout the incident.

To everyone who answered the call in Fairfield County, thank you for your service, your teamwork and your commitment to the communities of South Carolina.

SC Firefighter Mobilization resources were activated August 16-18 to support Fairfield County during operations at the MLily Manufacturing Plant fire in Winnsboro. 196 firefighters, 48 apparatus, and specialized teams from across the state assisted local agencies. We appreciate the cooperation and partnership of all SC Firefighter Mobilization agencies involved. For more information on SC Firefighter Mobilization: https://bit.ly/4xSR0Ae
