As spring fire season gets underway, we would like to remind everyone to be mindful of outdoor burning regulations. Conditions this time of year can allow fires to spread quickly, creating dangerous situations for both property and responders.

If you are planning to conduct any controlled or open burning, please notify the Adair County E911 Center in advance by calling 270-384-6466. Reporting your burn helps prevent unnecessary emergency responses and ensures firefighters are aware of authorized activity in the area.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep our community safe.
