💚 CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY WITH CENTER OF HOPE 💚

Center of Hope is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) interested in serving as an ON-CALL Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).

This is a contract position for an RN who is passionate about providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual assault.

✨ Position Details:
• On-call contract position
• SANE training provided and paid for
• $100 per hour
• Serving Marshall, Maury, Giles, Lawrence & Wayne Counties

If you had to flee tonight, would you know where to go—and which shelter is actually safest? 🧩

Domestic violence shelters are built around confidentiality, secure locations, and trauma-informed support because an abuser may still be actively looking for someone. Most homeless shelters aren’t designed for that specific risk, even though they provide critical help.

The heartbreaking reality: there are far fewer domestic violence shelter beds than survivors need, so many people are forced to weigh tough alternatives. When specialized shelter isn’t available, advocates focus on immediate safety—helping survivors compare options and build a safety plan for the next hours and days.
