It is staffed 24 hours a day; 7 days a week by 3 separate crews working on a rotating 24 on/ 48 off schedule. These crews are proud of the area they serve; hence calling themselves "The Sons of St. They hold themselves to the highest standards and value the community in which they work. re-planning is conducted in the area to ensure that Firehouse 6 knows how to best handle any emergency that may arise. Andrews, are committed to the safety of their community by teaching fire prevention to its citizens during fire safety demos and at any opportune moment. Everyday keeps us on our toes; as Firehouse 6 is the second busiest station in the state of SC.
