Congratulations to Allendale-Hampton-Jasper Regional Library on their new mobile outreach vehicle, the Literacy Lander!

The Literacy Lander will deliver books, digital resources, and literacy programming directly to residents across Allendale, Hampton, and Jasper Counties.

In 1976, the South Carolina American Revolution Bicentennial Commission honored the legacy of Mary McLeod Bethune by unveiling her portrait at the South Carolina State House. Although she lived long after the Revolutionary War, Mary McLeod Bethune fought for her community, state, and nation to uphold the ideals of the country’s founding by championing the educational rights of all.
