🎾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🎾

Help our athletes build confidence, develop new skills, and discover the joy of tennis! Special Olympics Howard County is looking for volunteers to support our Tennis Skills Program this fall.

This program gives athletes the opportunity to learn and develop fundamental tennis skills—including racket bounce, forehand volleys, backhand ground strokes, serves, and movement—before advancing to match play. It's also designed to provide opportunities for athletes who use mobility or equipment assistance devices.

Don't forget to stop by Texas Roadhouse! As a thank you, anyone who rounds up their check will receive a $5 card that can be used for appetizers on your next visit! And, mark your calendars for September 10th! Texas Roadhouse will host a “Dine to Donate” night; a percentage of the business for that night will be donated to Special Olympics. You’ll also see Texas Roadhouse at the Inspiration Walk. They will support the walkers by providing lemonade, peanuts and discount cards. Be sure to stop by and say hello to their mascot, Andy.

⛳ Volunteers Needed for Golf Skills! ⛳

In addition to adult golfers of any skill level to help coach, we are also looking for adult volunteers to help support and guide our 30 athletes as they move throughout the practice facility.

📍 Timbers at Troy Golf Course
🗓 Thursdays, August 20th – Sept. 17th
⏰ 6:30–7:30 PM
📍 Conveniently located near I-95 & Route 100 in Elkridge

Just one hour a week can make a big impact! No golf experience needed for volunteer support roles — just a willingness to help create a fun and inclusive experience.
