Weather Update and Risks for this next week.

Hurricane Ida has continued to strengthen and now has maximum sustained winds of 150 mph. Ida will make landfall this afternoon and bring wind gusts of 40-60 mph and rainfall amounts up to 2 inches to North Central/Northeast Louisiana tonight through Monday night.

Hurricane Ida is currently a Category 1 Hurricane and will likely affect the Four State Region Monday morning through early Tuesday. Tropical storm-force wind gusts will be possible across N Cntrl/NE LA. Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches are possible across N Cntrl/NE LA & S AR.
