A warm congratulations to Velma, Victory, and Violet Njiyang on their enlistment into the U.S. Army Reserves! These three sisters, all top ten scholars and juniors at W.J. Keenan High School, took their oaths of enlistment on March 5, 2026, at their High School with friends and family in attendance.

The Njiyang sisters' enlistment is a truly remarkable event. They are among a very small number of triplets to have joined the U.S. Army. This commitment to service and country is an inspiration to us all. We wish them the very best in their military careers.

In a Great day for the Fitzgerald Family, SFC Fitgerald of Asheville Recruiting Station stands off camera as the Asheville Company Commander swears in their son into the Future Soldier program as a 15U Ch-47 Helicopter Repairer / Crewmember. The solid effort of the Asheville leadership team and the Columbia Bn operations made this a truly special day!
