This year, we can make a difference in our hometown that will last a lifetime. All you have to do is WALK/RUN one mile during Drake Relays week, April 17-25. Be sure to register!
It's the Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Set the Pace Challenge, April 17–25. It's our chance to win a $10,000 award to support a project in our town that promotes healthy living — like a park, playground, or trail.
All we have to do is get our neighbors, families and friends to join in the fun as part of this year's Grand Blue Mile, a virtual one-mile run/walk for all ages and abilities.
The community with the highest rate of participation by population wins. So, it's not the size of our town, it's how much we want to win!
This year's Grand Blue Mile is going virtual, which means we can walk, jog, or run our mile right here in town.
Let's do this. Let's band together. Let's encourage everybody to get active. Let's kick-start a healthy, active season!

Let's win that $10,000.
(Or at least, let's have a lot of fun trying!)
ATTENTION any student who registers 10 or more participants will have their $10 registration fee paid for by local sponsors! Each paid participant gets an event T-shirt, race bib, and finish line ribbon!

Contact Bev Nielsen or any member of the Parks and Rec Committee for more information! Link to registration in comments!
