When doctor visits, medical bills, and treatments disrupt the joys of childhood, A Kid Again Adventures help kids regain those amazing moments with their families. Our Adventures are cost-free family outings held throughout the year at kid-desired destinations, such as zoos, amusement parks, entertainment centers, and sporting venues. Our program focuses on the whole family because while the child

who is ill is most impacted by the condition, it affects everyone. Parents and siblings also feel the pressures of long hospital stays, multiple doctor visits, and time apart.

For 1,153 family members, this was more than a day at an amusement park. It was a day to make memories, laugh together and just enjoy being a family.

Our recent Knott's Berry Farm Adventure was packed with roller coasters, laughter, sweet treats, and the kind of moments families can hold onto long after the rides stop.

A huge thank you to Knott’s Berry Farm for helping make this Adventure possible, CVT Soft Serve for treating our families to ice cream, and our incredible volunteer groups from Cox Enterprises and Nest Real Estate for jumping in to make the day even more special.

Because every family deserves days when worries feel a little smaller, childhood feels a little bigger, and the most important question is: What are we riding next?

We’ll never get tired of hearing stories like this…

Today we are back at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) for more appointments, but yesterday will be the highlight of our week!!”

One A Kid Again family is reaching new heights! 🎈

Kelsey grew up watching the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest from her family’s front yard. Through years of medical challenges, treatments, and a recent kidney transplant, this festival was one of many family traditions that kept her looking forward to brighter days.

Thanks to our partners at Comcast, Kelsey was able to take that tradition to the next level.

At this year’s Balloonfest, Kelsey saw the event from a new perspective, taking her very first hot air balloon ride in Comcast’s Xfinity balloon 90 feet in the air!
