The Columbus, Georgia Youth Advisory Council (or YAC) was created out of a joint partnership between the Columbus Consolidated Government and the Muscogee County School District. The Youth Advisory Council is designed to introduce Columbus youth to the process and functioning of a government, as well as increase youth participation in government policy making that will effect area youth.
