As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to continue the conversation around the deep connection between mental health, domestic violence, and s*xual assault.
Survivors often carry invisible wounds long after the abuse ends. Trauma can impact every part of a person’s well-being, emotionally, physically, mentally, and socially. Healing takes time, support, and compassion.
At Center for Survivors, we believe no one should have to navigate that journey alone. Together, we can reduce stigma, support survivors, promote healthy relationships, and build a community where safety and healing are possible for everyone.
Awareness months may end, but the work of prevention, advocacy, and support continues every day.

Be There.
💜 Be there as a friend - listen, believe, and support someone who may be struggling.
💚 Be there as a bystander - recognize warning signs and take safe action to prevent harm before it happens.
🧡 Be there as an advocate - speak up, educate others, and help create a community where violence is not tolerated.
Every conversation, every act of support, and every intervention can make a difference.
