In honor of National EMS week, the City of Weimar presented Colorado County EMS with a proclamation at last week's regular council meeting.

Mayor Tucker presented the proclamation on behalf of the City of Weimar to CC EMS Paramedic Seth Helmcamp and EMT Alex Velasquez.

CCEMS has a crew deployed in the panhandle for and all hazards weather response through the EMTF (Emergency Medical Task Force). We’ve joined numerous departments from across the state including EMS and fire units.

What a beautiful evening for the Colorado county Peace Officer’s Memorial gathering. Many men AND women have lost this or lives dedicated to peace in our own town and counties. Tonight was about paying homage to them.

Thank you Judge Prause, for leading the way on this 10+year tradition! CCEMS was proud to be there for the 10th+ year!

Yesterday, the Colorado County Commissioners Court officially approved a resolution recognizing EMS Week in Colorado County.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from the Court and the community we proudly serve. It is an honor and privilege to care for the citizens of Colorado County.

Almost one year later, our crews along with some Colorado County Sheriff’s Office employees met up with Mr. Hunt today in Eagle Lake at a fundraising golf tournament.

Wow, what a call for all of us to experience and by the Grace of God, Mr. Hunt was still able to use his cell phone!
