Soldiers from Company D, participated in advance marksmanship training while firing the M4 rifle under stress induced scenarios, in order to replicate the effects of adrenaline. The First Sergeant of Delta, led this group of Soldiers in an iteration of push-ups, flutter-kicks, and sprints prior to this volley of fire. Having their heart-rate, blood-pressure, while compromising muscle stability is the best way to provide realistic training. Behind the firing line a another group of Soldiers is standing by to change position with the Soldiers prior to firing. The 1SG briefed different starting positions (face left, right, to the rear and run up to the weapon from 10M behind the firing line) to more accurately simulate firing scenarios during combat, while on the move.

Soldiers practice firing the M136 (AT4) during Annual Training. The AT4 fires an 84mm Rocket designed for maximum penetration on armored targets. Soldiers conduct familiarization training on a range of weapon systems and fire more than just a M4 or M16 rifle. The ability to effectively and confidently use all weapons with in an Infantry Company is an important aspect in readiness and preparedness for the unit.
