We are SO excited to kick off our conference first thing tomorrow morning! Our wonderful OAESA board gathered this evening to make final preparations and also celebrate Zone 7 Director, Amy VanBalen, who is the winner of the OAESA Torchbearer Award for 2025-26. She grew membership in her zone by a whopping 8%!

Hunger doesn’t take summer off.

For many children, summer break can mean increased food insecurity, learning loss, and the absence of the balanced meals they rely on during the school year. That’s why programs like Summer Meals and other free food resources are so important in helping fill the gap for families.

We are excited to round out our week of Hall of Fame celebrations by congratulating Knollwood Elementary School in Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City Schools!

Principal Colleen Mudore and the whole Knollwood community have created a school that stands out as a place where students are not only supported academically, but are deeply cared for— empowered to succeed, confident in who they are, and inspired to make a difference!
