⚾️ FINAL WEEK TO REGISTER! 🥎

Don't let your athlete miss out on the 2026 Recreational Baseball and Softball season at the BankFirst Yards Sportsplex! Registration is officially closing this week.

Deadlines to remember:
🗓️ In-Person: Ends Friday, Feb 13th (Cash Only!)
🗓️ Online: Ends Sunday, Feb 15th

Registration Costs:
$50 for Wee Ball
$65 for Tee Ball, Baseball, and Softball

📍 In-Person Location: 560 Lehmberg Road, Columbus, MS
⏱️ Season Info: Practices begin March 1st!

Lowndes County Recreation’s 2026 Recreational Baseball & Softball season is officially open!

Divisions available:
4U Wee Ball & 6U T-Ball
8U, 10U, 12U Softball
8U, 10U, 12U Baseball

Practices begin March 1
Games start late March–early April
$50 Wee Ball | $65 all other divisions
Registration ends Feb 13 (in-person) | Feb 15 (online)

Register online via QR code or in person at 560 Lehmberg Rd.
In-person registration is cash only

LCR partners with CSO to offer all levels of soccer to the community. CSO is the only soccer organization in the area that is run by a board of directors made up local individuals. Do you want to help direct the next steps of this incredible community non-profit?
The board of directors currently has an open position for which they are seeking self-nominations. Read more below and please consider stepping up and stepping in.

Board Member for Special Programs
Two-year term
Votes on all board matters
Helps run and evolve CSO special programs which include TOP Soccer for players with special needs, camps (summer + any new offerings), First Goal Program, CSO Soccer Closet, CSO Player Health & Wellness Initiative. New program ideas encouraged.
