In accordance with Army Directive 2025-25, dated 12 December 2025, this page will be deactivated on 26 February 2026.

Per AD 2025-25, to ensure brand integrity, governance, and compliance, Army Reserve units (to include NG Units) are authorized to maintain official organizational social media accounts ONLY at the General Officer level and must have oversight by a 46-series Public Affairs Officer.

As this unit does not meet that criteria, this page will be deactivated to comply with this directive.
The page will remain active until the 26th of this month to allow Soldiers the opportunity to save any photos they may want from the account.

The 128th Engineer Battalion would like to recognize Chief Warrant Officer 4 KC Sohl for his exceptional service and leadership within our unit!

While only with us a short time, CW4 Sohl was a key part of the 128th team, sharing his experience, technical knowledge, and mentorship with everyone around him. His impact on our Soldiers and units will be remembered for years to come.

As he transitions to his next assignment with 92nd Troop Command, we wish him all the best in this next chapter. Thank you, CW4 Sohl, for your dedication and commitment to the 128th!

During this past drill weekend, we had the honor of recognizing Master Sgt. Bretey on his retirement after 29 years of dedicated service. Throughout his career, Master Sgt. Bretey demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and commitment to Soldiers and the mission.

In recognition of his outstanding service, Master Sgt. Bretey received the Meritorious Service Medal as his retirement award, along with a Certificate of Retirement and a Certificate of Appreciation from the President. He was also presented with a commemorative plaque and the Engineer Castle, symbolizing his lasting impact on the Engineer Regiment.

Congratulations, Master Sgt. Bretey, and thank you for nearly three decades of faithful service. Your legacy will continue to inspire those who follow. 🫡

Earlier this week, Spc. Baumann visited the 2nd grade class at Christ Lutheran School in Norfolk to share what it’s like to serve in the Nebraska Army National Guard!

He gave the students an inside look at what Soldiers do — from basic tasks to the everyday responsibilities that help keep our force strong and ready.
