: ALICE data shows that 23% of people in our community are working but still can’t always afford their basic needs? An additional 12% are living in poverty.

ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. These are households that earn above the Federal Poverty Level but still don’t make enough to cover the basic cost of living in Bartholomew County. The full data is here: https://unitedforalice.org/county-reports/indiana

With more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, John brings a strong background in youth development, strategic growth, fundraising, community partnerships, and organizational leadership. His career includes executive leadership with Scouting America, where he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Cornhusker Council and led efforts focused on organizational growth, fundraising, strategic planning, and long-term sustainability.
