Exciting wrap-up from the NCGOP State Convention! We completed party business, passed a new State Plan of Organization, updated our platform, and passed key resolutions: one demanding fiscal responsibility and transparency in local governments, and one honoring the late Rep. Mike Clampitt for his service to WNC and NC.
Final business at the State Executive Committee meeting included electing new RNC Committeewoman Felice Pete—bringing the fire to NC for this critical November election!

OK, so a few folks were commenting on the earlier post claiming that the reflecting pool would not work during the daylight. Looks like a reflection to me, although I will acknowledge there are some ripples in the water, but that’s due to the fact that it’s very windy right now.

State Auditor Dave Boliek continues to push for accountability and transparency in how government at all levels spend taxpayer dollars. A recent Wall Street Journal article highlights audit OSA’s work across North Carolina, including the indictment of the former town manager of Pilot Mountain and findings in Elizabeth City.
