News from The Arc of Bartholomew County
Recently we have all had to transition to a new type of community…one where many of us are only able to connect and care for each other through a screen.
Exciting news!
The Arc of Bartholomew County is pleased to announce that Grace Kestler has been appointed the new Executive Director of The Arc.
Grace, a native of Columbus, comes to The Arc from Advocates for Children where she was involved with community outreach, volunteer recruitment and fundraising. Her professional experience includes three years with Cummins Inc. which included developing communication strategies, implementing diversity trainings, developed initiatives focusing on individuals with disabilities and facilitating partnerships with diversity organizations.
While Grace begins this Monday the times we live in means that Grace will work remotely and unfortunately not available to visit with folks at The Arc office at this time.
Grace (left) is pictured with Danie'l Mize, member of The Arc board and President of Self-Advocates of Tomorrow The Aktion Club of Columbus.
