Had some great conversations at the doors in Circleville today at the Ohio Wins canvass launch, cosponsored by our Rural Caucus and the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus!

We were joined by Don Leonard for Ohio and Stacie Baker For Ohio Senate 3rd District, two candidates who have a real shot at flipping their seats and bringing Democratic leadership to Pickaway County. Thank you to all the volunteers working to get these candidates over the finish line!

Special thank you to Matt Hildreth with RuralOrganizing.org and Anthony Flaccavento with Rural Urban Bridge Initiative for joining us in Ohio last Saturday! They provide a clear eyed understanding into how national policies from both parties have impacted rural communities, and we cannot adequately advocate for our communities or build our party in these areas without it. Understanding rural realities isn’t optional, its how we build lasting progress from the ground up. 🇺🇸

We were so lucky to be joined by Sherrod Brown, along with other former elected rural Democrats such as Representatives John Patterson, Debbie Phillips, and Teresa Fedor, along with rural activists and organizers Matt Hildreth with RuralOrganizing.org and Anthony Flaccavento with Rural Urban Bridge Initiative. A lot was learned and now there is a lot to do!
