The LifeNet 1-3 crew took advantage of a little downtime to give our aircraft some much-deserved TLC. Keeping her looking sharp takes a little teamwork—and maybe a little elbow grease!

Because taking care of the aircraft that takes care of our patients is just part of the job. ❤️🚁

🚁 WELCOME TO THE LIFENET 1-3 TEAM, CALLIE! 🚁

Help us give a huge congratulations and welcome to Callie Wyman, who officially transitioned into what we call “second seat” last week! 🎉

Callie attended her initial training back in July and has absolutely flown through our third rider training — and let us tell you, this was no easy feat! Her hard work, dedication, and drive have been evident every step of the way.

Callie joins us as a Flight Nurse and already holds her CFRN, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to our crew. Her background includes fixed-wing flight nursing, critical access medicine, emergency department experience, and time working in OB.

We are incredibly excited to have her on board and can’t wait to see all she brings to LifeNet 1-3! 💙

🚁 Teamwork makes the dream work! 🚁

When one of our sister bases wasn’t able to make it, the LifeNet 1-3 crew was happy to step in and make the trip to Malcolm, Nebraska for their community burger feed! 🍔

We always enjoy opportunities to get out into the communities we serve, meet our local partners, and show off the aircraft.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and donated at our second blood drive of the year! Because of your generosity, we collected 34 lifesaving units of blood—each one with the potential to make a lifesaving difference for patients in need. Your support ensures we can carry blood on every flight.

Thanks to your support, LifeNet 1-3 is officially the reigning champion of the Battle of the Blades competition! 🏆🚁

Together, our participating LifeNet bases, LifeNet North Platte,TriCity LifeNet Kearney, NE, and LifeNet 1-3 Columbus an amazing 66 units of blood during this year’s Battle of the Blades blood drive. Every single donation has the potential to save multiple lives and helps address the ongoing national blood shortage. Your generosity will make a difference for patients and families throughout our communities.
