ADAMH was honored to be recognized at the SIGMA 614 Foundation’s Sapphire Awards, receiving the 2026 Agency of the Year Award. This recognition reflects the collective efforts of the dedicated providers, partners and advocates who work every day to strengthen behavioral health and transform lives across Franklin County.

ADAMH’s Vice President of Advocacy & Engagement D Malone was also honored with the 2026 Presidential Award, recognizing her leadership, service and extraordinary impact on the community.

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, ADAMH is highlighting data on Franklin County’s Hispanic and Latino population and factors that can affect access to behavioral health care, including language, cultural considerations and awareness of available resources.

ADAMH is proud to support community behavioral health providers offering services tailored to the needs of Hispanic and Latino individuals and families. Culturally responsive care can help make services more accessible and create opportunities for people to receive support that reflects their experiences and needs.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about domestic violence, recognize the warning signs and share resources that can help keep people safe.

As part of the Domestic Violence 101 Education Campaign led by the Franklin County Prosecutor Shayla D. Favor’s Office, ADAMH is highlighting the role fi****ms can play in domestic violence situations and the increased risk they can pose.

ADAMH leadership and staff were proud to support the Ohio Su***de Prevention Foundation’s third annual Ruck Walk, benefiting su***de prevention efforts for Ohio’s veterans and first responders.

ADAMH CEO Erika Clark Jones and Board Chair Danny Eakins were honored to speak at this year’s event, highlighting the importance of recognizing and addressing su***de prevention needs within our veteran communities.

Mental Health America of Ohio, alongside ADAMH and several provider partners, recently hosted its fall Peer Recovery Supporter Community Event and Job Fair. The events brought together people interested in peer recovery support to learn more about the field, connect with local providers and explore career opportunities.

ADAMH was proud to be part of both events, engaging with attendees and sharing more about ADAMH’s role in Franklin County’s behavioral health system.

With summer wrapped, ADAMH is reflecting on another season of impactful camps across Franklin County.

This year’s ADAMH-supported summer camps welcomed a wide range of ages, showing that opportunities for connection, growth and wellness can make a difference at every stage of childhood and young adulthood.

A big thank you to the organizations, counselors and staff who spent their summer creating meaningful experiences for young people across Franklin County. ADAMH is proud to support the work they’re doing to help our youth thrive.

As we recognize National Hispanic American Heritage Month, ADAMH is highlighting the Amigas Empowerment Group for Latina Women, a family support group offered by NAMI Franklin County in collaboration with the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities, with support from ADAMH.

The Spanish-speaking group provides a space for Latina women and families across Ohio to connect with others who understand the experience of caring for a loved one with a disability and mental illness. Participants can learn about medical care and social services, explore mental health through the lens of Latino culture and experiences, and hear from experts who can help families navigate the challenges they may face.

Al reconocer el Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana, ADAMH destaca al grupo de empoderamiento Amigas para mujeres latinas, un grupo de apoyo para familias ofrecido por NAMI del Condado de Franklin en colaboración con la Coalición de Ohio para la Educación de Niños con Discapacidades (OCECD), y con el apoyo de ADAMH.

Este grupo, completamente en español, ofrece un espacio para que mujeres latinas y familias de todo Ohio puedan conectarse con otras personas que comprenden la experiencia de cuidar a un ser querido con una discapacidad o una enfermedad mental. Congratulations to Erin Gouker, Clients Rights Officer and Quality Manager at North Central Mental Health Services, Inc., recipient of the 2026 Mitzi Kirkbride Extraordinary Mile Award.

Erin has dedicated nearly 16 years to advancing care at North Central Mental Health Services, growing from a case manager into a key leader in quality and client rights. Her willingness to support clients and colleagues, along with her leadership through a major electronic medical record system transition, continues to strengthen both her agency and the care it provides.
