Another great trail on our White Squirrel Hiking Challenge: Little White Oak Mountain!

Conserving Carolina helped save nearly 1,000 acres here from development. This mountain is now a beautiful scenic landmark in Polk County and home to the region's first bike-optimized trail system. For the Hiking Challenge, you can complete the designated 4-mile hiking loop or bike all the trails (including the bike-only Live Wire trail) to check it off the list!

This coming Saturday is the big day! Come join us for the grand opening of the Little White Oak Mountain bike trail at the Recreation Complex. The Recreation Complex is located at 235 Wolverine Trail in Mill Spring. Drive into the large parking lot! We will be there from 9-noon & you can win one of these 3 awesome raffle prizes. There will be food trucks, guided hikes and rides & games for the whole family. Come spend your morning with us.
