Fort Benning AEGD 12-Month Program

Last Friday, we had the privilege of graduating eight outstanding residents from the Fort Benning Army Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency.

Graduation is always bittersweet. For an entire year, we have the opportunity to teach, mentor, challenge, and learn alongside an incredible group of officers. Before long, they're off to new duty stations, new responsibilities, and new opportunities to serve.

This year's class was truly exceptional. They embraced challenges, pushed themselves to grow, supported one another, and never lost sight of the privilege of caring for our Soldiers and beneficiaries. They made our jobs as mentors rewarding, and they leave our program stronger because of the contributions they made.

Congratulations to CPT Vanessa Adderty, CPT Arianna Alvarado, CPT Lewis Culver, CPT Laurel Gofton, CPT Morghan Gray, CPT Devon Pratt, CPT Kyle Rideout, and CPT Zachary Willis. We are incredibly proud of each of you and grateful for the year we shared together.

Thank you for making this such a memorable year. We wish you nothing but success in your next assignments and have no doubt you'll continue to represent Army Dentistry with excellence.

The Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residents at Love Dental Clinic are helping shape the future of Army dentistry while providing exceptional care to Soldiers.

Working alongside experienced providers and dental staff, these officers deliver patient-centered care focused on professionalism, communication, and comprehensive treatment planning. Recent patient feedback praised the team's dedication, thoroughness, and commitment to ensuring patients feel informed and supported throughout their care.

Through advanced training and hands-on experience, the AEGD residents continue to enhance Soldier readiness while providing high-quality dental care across the Fort Benning community.

Being Army dentists means we get the chance to care for some pretty awesome people here at Fort Benning. We were lucky enough to get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity from one of our amazing patients to fly with them in a UH-60 Black Hawk. Definitely an experience we’ll never forget!
