🌟🌟🌟It was a very special night for Ariah who earned the rank of Eagle Scout. The impressive Court of Honor spoke so highly of Troop 777, her parents and the years Ariah dedicated to achieving this highest honor earned by a Scout. I was delighted to recognize her tremendous accomplishment and grateful to be invited!

🌟Happy news for vulnerable seniors and disabled veterans regarding property tax relief.
This week, the Ohio House voted on policy that will provide a property tax credit in January of an estimated $475 for any owner occupied homeowner currently eligible for the Homestead Exemption.
The funding for the relief will come directly from the state.
 This isn’t the permanent change that I was hoping for via my bills, but it is a step in the right direction to help our most vulnerable receive property tax assistance.
We had numerous important pieces of legislation pass out of the Ohio House this week which I will share with you in the future.

After back to back meetings all day today, I had the pleasure of watching the unveiling of the portrait of former House Speaker Ryan Smith. The legacy of leadership is worthy of celebrating. I couldn’t help but admire Ryan’s deep humility. Congratulations to him and to his beautiful family on this special occasion.
