New employment opportunity on the horizon? Take your CPE with you when you go!

Does your current firm track your CPE for you? As part of your exit interview, we suggest requesting certificates of completion for any CPE that is in your employer’s tracking system but you have not yet downloaded. As a reminder, if you keep your documentation on your work computer or tied to your work email, you should send a copy of your documentation to your personal email before you leave your employer.

July is a great time to document your CPE progress! Have you:

* Earned your three credits of Board-approved PSR/ethics?

* Signed up for courses that meet any subject-specific credits you need?

* Ensured you are on track to earn at least 20 credits this year (and every year)?

* Created a system to organize your documentation for easy reporting?

Stay alert for phishing emails! The Board handles its complaints in-house and via the State of Ohio eLicense website. Suspicious emails may contain unusual sender addresses, urgent or threatening language, and/or unexpected links or attachments. When in doubt, don't click!
