Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has given away over 330 million free books to children from birth to age 5. She began the nonprofit as a tribute to her father who couldn’t read and once claimed, for all that she’s accomplished, she hoped she’d be remembered as the “book lady”.

We’ll always remember you for your talent, your heart and for fostering a love of reading for children across the world.
