📚Professional Arts Integration Resource! Integrating the arts doesn’t have to be hard! 🍐

As an extension of the Springer Theatre Academy, the Professional Arts Integration Resource (PAIR) Program will initiate a long term partnership with two Muscogee County School District (MCSD) elementary schools to serve as part of the professional development programming provided by the district. The PAIR Program is a sustainable, gradual release professional development arts integration program

that aligns the Springer Education staff with MCSD elementary schools. School partnerships span three years and will focus on providing support for teachers to plan and instruct integrated lessons and units. Learning through the arts engages students and positions the teacher as a co-learner, supporting student-centered, constructivist classrooms.

The PAIR Team had another incredible experience at the GA Department of Education STEM/STEAM Forum this year! We were thrilled to lead two workshops focused on blending core content with various artistic mediums. 🍐🎭

It’s clear that the “A” in STEAM continues to prove its essential role in education, and we’re proud to be part of the movement. We left feeling inspired by all the amazing educators we met—both new faces and familiar friends!

To celebrate the start of this partnership, they gave us one of their STEAM Journals to use all year as well as a copy of Change Sings by Amanda Gorman, a book they’ll be referencing all year. Give it a read!
