📚Professional Arts Integration Resource! Integrating the arts doesn’t have to be hard! 🍐

As an extension of the Springer Theatre Academy, the Professional Arts Integration Resource (PAIR) Program will initiate a long term partnership with two Muscogee County School District (MCSD) elementary schools to serve as part of the professional development programming provided by the district. The PAIR Program is a sustainable, gradual release professional development arts integration program that aligns the Springer Education staff with MCSD elementary schools. School partnerships span three years and will focus on providing support for teachers to plan and instruct integrated lessons and units. Learning through the arts engages students and positions the teacher as a co-learner, supporting student-centered, constructivist classrooms.

PAIR is excited to support one of our favorite partners, Wynnton Arts Academy, for their upcoming Spring Open House Alumni Event on May 1st! 🎭🎨

182 years of history—that’s a legacy worth celebrating! 🏫✨

We’re honored to be part of this incredible journey and can’t wait to see alumni, students, and educators come together for this special event.

Creativity. Collaboration. Communication. 🎭🎨📚

At PAIR, we equip and empower teachers with arts integration strategies that make core content come alive! When creativity meets curriculum, students engage, collaborate, and deepen their learning in meaningful ways.

The PAIR Team had another incredible experience at the GA Department of Education STEM/STEAM Forum this year! We were thrilled to lead two workshops focused on blending core content with various artistic mediums. 🍐🎭

It’s clear that the “A” in STEAM continues to prove its essential role in education, and we’re proud to be part of the movement. We left feeling inspired by all the amazing educators we met—both new faces and familiar friends!

Arts integration can feel like one more thing for teachers to do. An add-on. Another expectation, another box to check. We get it.

We ask so much of teachers— to counsel, encourage, coach, calm, feed, nurture and— oh by the way— teach our children.

So, why is arts integration important? Why would teachers willingly add to their ever-growing list of things to do?

Arts integration serves the needs of every single diverse learner in your class. You read that right. All of them.

Head over to our blog to find out HOW arts integration can have a transformative impact in your classroom!

The PAIR Team has been on the move this September! We’ve been busy partnering with our friends at Wynnton Fine Arts, following up with our amazing teachers in Harris County Elementary Schools, and even training new PAIR Partners up in ATL! 🎉 That’s right, we’re expanding the reach of arts integration across Georgia!

If your school is seeking STEAM Certification or you’re looking to bring more arts integration into the classroom, we’d love to help. Email us at [email protected] to learn how PAIR can support your journey!

Our PAIR Director had a fantastic time this morning at Wynnton Arts Academy, diving into arts integration with new and returning teachers. We explored strategies like Why I Wiggle and Visual Thinking Strategy, classics that can be scaffolded easily.

Excited to bring this kind of engaging, hands-on training to your school? Let’s connect about how PAIR can support your educators and inspire your students! Email us at [email protected] or call (706) 324-1100.

Excited about the 2024-2025 school year? So are we! 🎉

One of the best things about partnering with PAIR is that our strategies are adaptable to fit any lesson plan, making them perfect for our new and returning teachers alike!

Whether you’re planning a full class period or just need a quick 5-minute activity to get your students moving, our strategies can meet any need!

Our tip for newcomers? Start small! Don’t stress over a detailed plan—let your students take the lead as they justify the art in the strategies. That’s the magic of PAIR! 🍐

Ready to kick off this school year with some arts integrated fun? Contact us at (706) 324-1100 or [email protected]. We’re eager to support you and our new teachers in making this school year unforgettable!

Wynnton Arts Academy is beginning their STEAM journey, and we can’t wait to PAIR with them! (see what we did there 😉🍐)

To celebrate the start of this partnership, they gave us one of their STEAM Journals to use all year as well as a copy of Change Sings by Amanda Gorman, a book they’ll be referencing all year. Give it a read!

Wynnton, thank you SO much for these gifts and for choosing PAIR to assist on your STEAM journey. This school year is going to be a great one!
