Meet N88. Pronounced Nate.

Created by youth, for youth, N88 is a new campaign helping make the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline more approachable and recognizable for students across Ohio.

The campaign was developed by OSPF’s Youth Advisory Council and officially introduced during a news conference at Jones Middle School in Upper Arlington alongside Sources of Strength Peer Leaders from Jones and Hastings Middle School.

Too many young people still face stigma around mental health and asking for help. This campaign is about changing that through awareness, conversation, and connection.

Campaign materials will begin rolling out across Ohio schools and youth-focused organizations during the 2026–2027 school year.

During , it’s important to remind the men in our lives that their mental health matters and that support is always available.

We’re grateful to our partners at Man Therapy Ohio for continuing to share practical tools and strategies that support men’s mental health in approachable, actionable ways.

Anger is often a signal, not a weakness. Taking a “Tactical Time-Out,” stepping away for a few minutes, and finding a healthy outlet can help create space to reset and regain control.

Exploring the Intersection of AI & Su***de Prevention

📅 Wednesday, June 10, 2026 | 1:00 PM EDT

As artificial intelligence becomes more embedded in daily life, many people are turning to AI tools for information and even emotional support. While these tools can be helpful, they are not a replacement for clinical care, and their role during moments of crisis raises important questions for su***de prevention.

Join us for a critical conversation exploring how AI is shaping mental health support, the risks and ethical concerns emerging in this space, and what safeguards are needed to protect people in crisis.

This webinar will feature a parent sharing lived experience alongside speakers from NSPAN, SAVE, and OSPF, as well as national experts in psychiatry, ethics, and technology policy.

Voices for Su***de Prevention Advocacy Update
📅 June 9, 2026 | 10:30–11:00 AM

Advocacy in su***de prevention is about more than responding to a crisis. It’s about building systems, policies, and communities that prioritize people before they ever reach a crisis point.

Join us for this month’s Voices for Su***de Prevention Advocacy Update as we explore what prevention truly means and why it matters now more than ever.

OSPF CEO Tony Coder and Chief Strategy Officer Daniel Bennett will discuss how advocacy can shift the conversation from reacting to tragedy to investing in lives before loss occurs.

This month’s conversation will also highlight the growing need to center people over profits in mental health and su***de prevention systems, along with updates on new su***de prevention legislation in Ohio and what it could mean for communities statewide.

Men’s mental health often goes unseen because silence can look like strength from the outside.

But behind that silence is real pressure, stress, and isolation that many men are carrying alone.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, we are working to change what support looks like across Ohio by encouraging conversation, connection, and help-seeking.

If you or someone you know needs support, our resource hub is a place to start.

May may be ending, but the conversations we started cannot.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a time to reflect, learn, and show up for one another. For many in our community, this work is deeply personal.

This week, we are sharing perspectives from two OSPF Board members who are also loss survivors. Chris and Jeff remind us why this work matters and why we must keep going.

There is no end date for supporting mental health. Let’s continue to check in, speak up, and create spaces where people feel seen and supported.
