Our Red Loop launched on Monday, and some of our first riders on our Walesboro route were so excited to be able to ride!

Taylor, Cory and Dora usually walk into town from Garden City but rode the red loop to connect at the depot so they can attend doctor and dentist appointments around town. As a treat, they're riding the red loop to Taylorsville later this afternoon and having lunch ""out on the town"" as Cory put it!

At the helm was driver-extraordinaire Ralph Haywood, who made our first red loop trip feel like a path we've been traveling forever.

Transit services will not be running on Thursday, April 9 from 12pm – 2pm due to staff training. Service will resume at 2pm.

Stop #318 will be at the corner of Pavilion Drive & Marr Road. Updated stop order is:

The 🔴 Red Loop 🔴 launches TODAY!

Taylorsville Loop runs at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, & 7 pm Monday - Friday, and 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, & 12 pm Saturday.

Walesboro Loop runs at 6 am, 7 am, 8 am, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, & 4 pm Monday - Friday, and 8 am, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, & 4 pm Saturday.

Our new 🔴 Red Loop 🔴 in Taylorsville is a Deviated Route, meaning we can pick you up from more places, upon request! This route runs at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, & 7 pm.

The Red Loop connects Columbus to the Indiana Premium Outlets, and other neighborhoods in-between thanks to our deviated route system. Deviated Stops on the Taylorsville Red Loop will be available at:

Random Road & Burbrink Drive
Burbrink Drive & Fiesbeck Drive
Commerce Drive & Greenway Drive
Greenway Drive & Market Street
Main Street & 650N
Main Street & Friendship Drive
650N & Branton Drive
Henry Lakes Blvd.

To utilize these deviated stops, you must schedule your pickup by calling our dispatch at 812-376-2507 during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm). Rides can be scheduled on off-hours by voicemail, but will not be available until the next business day.

⚠️ Reminder! ⚠️ ColumBUS Transit will NOT be running on Saturday, March 21!

Crews will be hard at work switching signage and preparing for our new Loops starting Monday, March 23.
