πŸ“’ COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE UPDATE πŸ“…

Please be advised that there has been a change to the previously published Council Meeting dates for the remainder of 2026. πŸ›οΈ

πŸ—³οΈ What changed?
The Regular Council Meeting originally scheduled for November 3, 2026, has been moved to November 17, 2026.

❓ Why the change?
November 3 is Election Day, and the Elections & Registration Office will be utilizing the Council Chamber for election operations. This would require the Council Meeting to be relocated.

While we always work together to make location changes possible, relocating a Council Meeting involves coordination among several CCG departments and can also create confusion for citizens planning to attend. To help keep operations running smoothly and provide consistency for the public, Council approved a revised November meeting schedule. βœ…

πŸ“… November Council Meetings:
➑️ November 10, 2026 | 9:00 a.m.
➑️ November 17, 2026 | 9:00 a.m.

⚠️ Please note: The schedule shown in the graphic replaces the previously published Council Meeting schedule for the remainder of 2026.

πŸ›οΈ LOCAL GOVERNMENT MATTERS β€” AND SO DOES KNOWING WHO REPRESENTS YOU!

Some of the decisions that affect your everyday life are made right here at the local level. From 🚧 roads and infrastructure to πŸš“ public safety, 🌳 parks, πŸ’Ό economic development, and other city services, your City Council plays an important role in shaping the community.

That’s why it’s important to know who represents you! πŸ—³οΈ

πŸ“ Your District Councilor represents the specific area of the city where you live. By using this link and entering your address, you can find your district and identify your City Councilor.

But did you know you also have two At-Large Councilors? πŸ‘₯

Unlike district councilors, who represent a specific geographic area, At-Large Councilors are elected by voters across the entire city and represent the city as a whole. That means every resident is represented not only by their district councilor, but also by both at-large councilors.

πŸ’‘ Know your representatives. Stay informed. Get involved.

Local government works best when citizens understand who represents them and how to make their voices heard. πŸ€πŸ™οΈ
