The watermain break at School St. and S. Dickason Blvd. has been repaired.

Water pressure has been restored to the homes in the impacted area.

If you have discolored water, please let the faucet run until clear.

The City of Columbus has had a water mane break at School St. and S. Dickason Blvd.

The problem has been located and is being repaired.

Once water pressure has been reestablished, be prepared for some discoloration in your water. It is advised to let your faucet run until the water runs clear.

We will provide an update of the situation.

The City of Columbus is issuing a public safety advisory regarding severe inclement weather predicted to impact our area starting this afternoon, Wednesday, June 10, and continuing through Thursday, June 11.

Critical Safety Hazards:
o Downed Power lines: Treat all downed lines as live and highly dangerous.
o Maintain Distance: stay at least 35 feet away from any downed lines.
o Immediate Reporting: Call 911 or the Columbus Utilities Office immediately to report downed lines
o Avoid Standing Water: Do not walk or drive through flooded areas, as hidden downed line may energize the water.
